Every band is made for Apple Watch cases from 38mm through to the 49mm Ultra. You pick one of three options on the product page: 38mm, 40mm, 41mm and the 42mm Series 10 and 11; 42mm Series 1 to 3, 44mm, 45mm and 46mm; or 49mm Ultra.

Check the number on your case carefully. Apple reused the 42mm figure for a case that takes the smaller adapter, so a 42mm Series 10 or 11 needs the first option, not the second.

No. Every Apple Watch band includes the stainless steel adapter, matched to your case size and finished in black or silver. The strap comes fitted, so there is nothing to measure and nothing else to buy.
